JOE HARRINGTON is an NYC-based comedian/writer/actor who specializes in characters, sketch, and improv. He is represented by Stewart Talent (commercial).
He is currently a member of Betty at UCB, performing original characters each month. Additionally, he is a cast member of the weekly sketch show “Demon Time” at The Brooklyn Comedy Collective. He is also a part of the improv group “SLOP” which has a monthly headlining show at UCB, and a part of the sketch duo “Disco Horses” which performs regularly across the city.
Previously, Joe was a cast member for The Brooklyn Comedy Collective’s “MainStage Residency Show”. The theater’s flagship show, he performed original sketches and characters for the six-month run.
He has also performed at several comedy festivals across the country such as New York Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Flyover Comedy Festival, Austin Sketchfest, IO Fest, NYC Sketchfest, DC Sketchfest, Philly Sketchfest, and BCC Fun and Dumb Festival.
Joe has a solo show called “Buckley’s Glass Brain” which has sold out multiple runs in New York and Chicago.
Prior to New York, Joe was based out of Chicago where he performed consistently at venues like The Second City, Zanies, The Annoyance Theater, and IO Theater.
He has also published several articles for Slackjaw, Medium’s largest humor publication, where he is a multiple time winner of of their annual humor competition.
When he's not performing comedy, Joe just shuts down like a robot that's powered off. There is not a single interesting fact about his personal life. A lot of people are suspicious of him.
